The Safe Church ministry equips East Hill Community Church to cultivate a safe place for all people. We help our members abide by our Abuse Prevention and Response policy, make sure all those who work with vulnerable persons have criminal records checks, train ministry leaders in Safe Church practices and respond to allegations of abuse. Physical, sexual and emotional abuse is a sin and we are doing our best to prevent the risk of it in our congregation.
Our goal is to offer invaluable support, walking alongside those who have been impacted by abuse and pointing them to available resources.
We are part of the BC Safe Church ministry.
