Children

Children are an important part of our community!  We offer the following ministries designed for children:


NURSERY

We offer child care for children under 3 years old at both our Mosaic and Sunday morning services!

SUNDAY SCHOOL

As part of our Sunday morning services we provide Sunday school for children starting at aged 3 and going until Grade 7.

Pre-School Sunday School


 		Ages 3-Kindergarten

A year-round class which meets on Sunday mornings during the service. Bible stories, singing and crafts are just part of the activities that take place at pre-school Sunday school.

Sunday School


 		Grades 1 - 7 (Sept. - June.)

Helping children grow in faith – that’s what Sunday School is all about! It helps them discover how the Bible’s stories connect to reveal God’s unfolding plan of salvation and encourages children to respond with their hearts and lives. This group meets during the Sunday morning worship service.

BOY'S CLUB

We have a variety of different groups for boys of all ages!  All the groups meet on Thursday night for September to June.

Junior Cadets


 Who: Grades 1-3 (ages 6-8)
Where: East Hill Community Church
When: Thursdays 6:00p - 7:00p
What:
 		Divided into three sections; Discoverers is for the first grade, Explorers is geared for second grade and Adventurers is for third grade.  The boys participating in junior cadets work on merit badges, crafts, bible lessons and games.

Recruit-Pathfinder-Builder


 Who: Grades 4-6 (ages 9-11)
Where: Vernon Christian School (gym)
When: Thursdays 6:45p-8:15p
What:
 		Allows boys to explore a wide range of interests and skills as they work their way through a selection of over one hundred merit badges as well as participating in a father son camp.

Guide Trails


 Who: Grades 7-9 (ages 12-14)
Where: Vernon Christian School (gym)
When: Thursdays 6:45p-8:15p
What:

Boys choose a specific cadet interest, from a choice of approximately 50 different projects (eg. Aero-tech, camping etc.).


G.E.M.S.

GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior) meet every other Thursday from 7-8:30 pm, starting in late September and going until late April. The girls do everything from candy making to shopping to missions. Bible study and badge work are also a part of what happens at GEMS. Who knows, they may even have another spa party to wrap up the season! All girls in grades 3-7 are welcome to join!
